More and more theatres are having understudy runs to allow understudies, the unsung heroes of theatre, to have a chance to perform in front of an invited audience. It was a real privilege to see Cathryn Sherman and Clive Marlowe strut their stuff in the West End – and there were great performances from all the understudies. Congratulation all round!
