Triumph for Victoria

We had a lovely trip to Bournemouth to see Victoria Porter in Dead Guilty at the Shelley Theatre, the last play in the The London Repertory Players summer season.

It was a great production and Victoria was brilliant in the lead role of Julia – and it’s not just us that think that. The review in Scene OnePlus says “As Julia Darrow, Victoria Porter is excellent, moving to and fro between confidence, assertiveness, vulnerability and confusion with real dexterity – and managing to sustain a consistency of characterisation that never wavers.”

Summer rep for Victoria

Victoria Porter is currently rehearsing two plays in rep at the Shelley Theatre – Suddenly at Home by Francis Durbridge and Dead Guilty by Richard Harris.

Suddenly at Home opens this Thursday 16th August, and Dead Guilty next Thursday 23rd August – weekly rep is very hard work, but we know Victoria can do it, as she’s performed in long seasons of weekly rep in Sidmouth.

We wish you well, Victoria, and are looking forward to seeing you in Bournemouth.
