Our client Su Gilroy is directing three of the five plays in her Summer Season of weekly rep. plays, 23rd July to 26th August 2026 – Communicating Doors, Arms and the Man, and Dead Guilty.
The Late Edwina Black – by William Dinner and William Morum – a psychological whodunnit. Will the cat catch the mouse, will the mouse eat the cat, or will the spider ensnare them both? And what really happened in the greenhouse? – 23, 24, 27, 28, 29 July.
Communicating Doors – by Alan Ayckbourn – a time-bending, fate-changing comedy which proves a leather-clad dominatrix really can have a lasting impact on your spacetime continuum – 30, 31 July, 3, 4, 5 August.
Arms and the Man – by George Bernard Shaw – a ‘light comedy’ exposing the hypocrisies of human nature? Or a play that caused a riot in 2024?! Shaw’s advice: ‘If you can’t get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you’d best teach it do dance’. – 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 August.
Dead Guilty – by Richard Harris – betrayal, obsession and that nagging doubt, are you really sure you locked the front door?? – 13, 14, 17, 18, 19 August.
Ladies’ Day – by Amanda Whittington – hold onto your hats, the fish gutters are off to Royal Ascot. In with the champagne, out with the secrets, and all bets are off! – 20, 21, 24, 25, 26 August.
